Team Event Vs. Team Division

Everything you need to know about team events and the team division

Details

As you may notice we have two “Team Events” scheduled for 2024. The “Team Events” Will consist of the following divisions;

The “Elite” division will have the heaviest weights of all the divisions. This is our hardest test in the sport. Teams can be Male/Male or COED. COED teams will use the Female Elite equivalent weights. Scores will be counted against M/M teams. The top five teams in this division will qualify for the Elite division at the National Championship.

This division will be for women only. The weights will be comparable to the Women’s Tactical division. Women who compete in this division can use pistol RDS and will qualify for the 40+ division at the national championship if they place in the top five and age appropriate.

The total combined age of teammates must exceed 80 years. Example, one teammate is 36 and the other is 44, 36+44=80. THe weights in this division will align with Men’s 50+. The top five teams in this division will qualify for the Masters division at the National Championship.

The “Tactical” division will be the moderate weight of the divisions. Teams can be Male/Male or COED. COED teams will use the Female Tactical equivalent weights. Scores will be counted against M/M teams. The top five teams in this division will qualify for the Tactical division at the National Championship.

The “Intermediate” division will have the lightest weights of all the divisions. Teams can be Male/Male or COED. COED teams will use the Female Intermediate equivalent weights. Scores will be counted against M/M teams.

There will also be a “Team Division” at every event. The “Team Division” at regional events is intended for those who are coming out to enjoy the TTG experience with a friend. Please note this division will be based off of the individual events and will utilize similar weights to the Intermediate division. Accommodations will be made to Female and COED teams that register, however scores will be commingled as a division.

The Resurgence of the podcast.

We talk give the 2023 season recap, talk about Nationals, and talk through the 2024 season.

Details.

In the latest episode of the podcast, we talk through the importance of supporting sponsors. It is important for us that you all understand the benefit our sponsors offer the organization. We do our best to ensure the products these companies offer are worth your hard earned dollars and are tried and true. In return, they support the organization that puts on the events we all love so much. Growth of this sports comes from spreading the word about it. These companies, and most importantly their people, believe in what we are all doing. If you are part of the community, or are hoping to become a part of it, we ask that you go to our sponsors first when you are looking for gear.

Our desire is now, and has always been, to continue to grow support of the shooting and fitness community. We also want to encourage every person in this country to put an emphasis on physical well-being. Training to become a competitor in this sport will hopefully give people a reason to train, and through that training and the competition we will grow support for our competition.
